Since their creation in 1992, located on the edge of the Garonne, the Nuits Atypiques festival in Langon has acquired an international reputation of discovery, an openness of identity and a multiple view of humanity and his/her culture.
These arguments led to the creation of the record label daqui in 1998. Distributed by harmonia mundi, daqui participates in this quest and diffusion of world music in its largest diversity, be it traditional, popular, ethnic, rural, acoustic, crossbreed, urban… the care involved in the recording and presentation of the discs, as well as the accompaniment of the musicians in their projects, reflect the exceptional soft-spot daqui holds for these artists. Today, our ears are tuned into the " world sounds " of the culture and identity of artists from here and abroad.
